I bought this book as something to pass the time through the winter and maybe survey a bit of what I have learned through personal experience and application. I'm an up and coming lawn care professional. I have nothing good to say about this short publication. It reads like it was written by a drunk who speaks English as a second language. It's full of typos, inconsistencies, incomplete information as well a couple of outright urban myths I assume the author picked up from a Google search or something. It switches back and forth from proper nomenclature to regional colloquiallisms which is very confusing. It offers advice and then contradicts said advice later on. It presents concepts without explaining what they are. I'm not so much upset I wasted $10 as I am disappointed at the other reveiwers for not warning me how lousy this book was. If you have spent 10 minutes online learning about lawn care, congratulations, you now know more than this book.To sum up, don't buy this. You could get much more thorough, and concise advice from an online article of the same topic. And for free.
